Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 4, 2026
This policy explains what data the Vectorize Image app and this website collect. It also explains how we use the data. In this policy, “we” means the developer of Vectorize Image.
Summary
- The app needs no account. You do not give us your name or email to use it.
- Trace works on your device. Your image does not leave your iPhone or iPad.
- Image to vector and Remove background send your image to our server for processing.
- Our server does not save your images.
- We do not sell your data. We do not show ads.
Images you process
Trace. The app processes the image on your device. We do not receive the image.
Image to vector and Remove background. The app sends the image to our server over an encrypted connection. Our server passes the image to Replicate, Inc., which runs the AI model. Replicate returns the result to the app through a temporary link. The link expires after about one hour. Our server does not write your image or the result to disk. Replicate deletes the input and the result of each request after about one hour.
We use your images only to produce the result you asked for. We do not use them to train AI models.
Data the app collects
A random app ID. The app creates a random ID on first launch and keeps it in the Keychain. The ID is not linked to your name, email or Apple Account. You can see it in the app: Menu → Help & Support → About.
Usage limits. Our server counts how many times each app ID used the AI tools. The count enforces the free limit and the daily limit.
Device check. The app uses Apple App Attest and DeviceCheck. These Apple services confirm that requests come from the real app on a real device. Our server stores the App Attest key for your app ID.
Purchases. Apple processes all payments. We do not see your card details. RevenueCat, Inc. checks the status of your subscription. RevenueCat receives the app ID and the purchase receipt from Apple.
Analytics and crashes. The app sends usage events and crash reports to PostHog, Inc. Events describe actions in the app, for example “export finished”. Events include the app version, the iOS version, the device model and the app ID. Events do not include your images.
Support emails. If you write to us, we receive your email address and your message. The feedback email from the app also contains the app version and the app ID. We use this data only to answer you.
Data the website collects
This website uses PostHog analytics without cookies. PostHog counts page views and clicks on the App Store buttons. The website does not use advertising cookies.
Our web server keeps access logs for security. A log entry contains the IP address, the time and the requested page. The server deletes the logs after 14 days.

- RevenueCat, Inc. (USA): checks the subscription status.
- PostHog, Inc. (USA): collects analytics and crash reports.
